Dog Training Information & Class Sign Ups

Our courses are designed to better and strengthin the partnership between a dog and their family. Our classes are fun, and entertaining for the entire family.

Private classes are held in your home, once or twice a week. After you have learned something new, you need to spend 20 minutes a day working on those commands and actions. You may participate in the group classes Graduation ceremony at the end of your sessions.

Group classes are held in La Quinta, By La Quinta High school. They are once a week. There is a maximum of 4 dogs in a group class. There are both puppy and adult group classes. There is a graduation at the end of the course.

Beginners Agility,is a great activity to get dogs with high amounts of energy into. Its fun, and great to keep your dog healthy and fit.

Obedience

In obedience we work on just that. Getting your dog to listen to you. You MUST have your dogs respect, and in saying that, we will teach you how to gain and keep your dogs respect. Dog training is essentially about Communication. The communication between you and your dog is what keeps your bond strong. Many dogs are abandoned to shelters and rescue groups because their dogs don't do what they want them to. People put the blame on their dogs when truly is the owners responsibility to Teach their dog in a constructive way. The method we use is Positive Reinforcement. (Positive Reinforcement– The act of increasing the occurrence of a behavior by rewarding the action with praise or a treat.) This method has been proven time and time again to not only to be Easy but EFFECTIVE. Our obedience classes are set into 2 sections. Adult dogs ( 1 year of age and older) Puppies (12 months and younger). We have owners of all ages participating with their pets. We have children as young as 6 years who bring their dogs to classes. We don't let one dog leave class with out learning the actions taught in that class. Guaranteed. Kids love the program because they can take their dog or puppy home and show their parents what THEY taught their dog that day.
